Disappointed

I am so disappointed. When I try to access my photos on my iPad to load to my blog it will not let me. So here is another boring post. I have been teaching myself to knit and I wanted to show off my accomplishment. Oh well. I have been making the cutest dish rags and I love them. Perhaps when I get on my laptop it will let me post a picture. We have finally had some sunshine here. I went to church today and it was a much needed uplift. A gal from our town has three boys and is raising them all by herself. The second boy became depressed and tried to end it by hanging. He survived but has had to have major rehabilitation. They just did major surgery on him in order to get him so he can walk again. I have been following her on Facebook. She is such a strong person, but I do not know if she will make it through this latest challenge. She found her 10 year old hanging in his room this morning and I do not think he made it. It is so hard to understand the thoughts of children. They think all is lost so easily. She is such a loving mother I cannot imagine what he was thinking. Especially after seeing what his brother has gone through. Wrap your arms around your children and tell them you love them and there is nothing that cannot be fixed with prayer and time.

Oh another week gone by. Went to church today and we are the early morning schedule. It was cold again so I took my long coat. Well it was not long enough. My feet froze. I also go to the family history library twice a week and it was cold there also.. I come home and crawl under a blanket to try to warm up. Maybe they are trying to freeze our sins I am not so sure but all it is doing is freezing the saints. January is such a cold month. I really must try to find something pleasant about this month. Any ideas?

It is a winter wonderland here. We are suppose to be getting at least three more storms this month. It has been really cold here in the single digits. So plenty of time to knit and sew. I am working on some new projects and as soon as I can get my camera to work I will be posting them. I have learned that I cannot post from my picture from my ipad. Who would have guessed. Oh well live and learn I guess. Hope everyone has a warm and cuddly day.

Well I wanted to post a picture from my iPad but blogger won't let me. I will post it tomorrow from my laptop however the photo is on my iPad. Oh technology so confusing. It is very cold here in Utah. Currently 12 degrees. And we are red alert for air so no burning of stoves the rest of the week. My fuel bill is going to be very high. Hope everyone is snugly and warm.

Here are some pictures of our Christmas party. I could not get the videos to work. WE played minute to win it games and they were really fun. Of course having fun and crazy grandkids makes any party fun.

Wow I have really got to get with it. Merry Christmas everyone. We are having our family Christmas party tonight so I will post pictures later. I hope everyone is in good health and good spirits for this holiday. Do not let those few people who do not walue life ruin it for the rest of us. My prayers go out to the families of those firefighters that were shot doing their job, and to the families of the Sandy Hook families.
