Friday!!!

Wow where has the week gone. I have been sick up until just one day ago so I guess that explains it. I still do not have much energy. My latest project has been sitting undone for a week. Even Abby cannot get up enough ambition to do much. Well maybe next week. Basketball is over so no more games that should open up some time.

We Have enjoyed watching my grandson play basketball this year. This is his last year he graduates this year.

I have been sick with the flue for a few days and all my projects have been put on hold. And now it will not let me post my pictures. So I guess I will go back to bed and start another day. Hope everyone is ok out there. I will post again later.

Good Morning Everyone

It is going to be a great day. We are going to the city and just bum. I wanted to post what I have been up to lately. We have this apple tree in our yard and it mass produced this year so I have been giving away apple and making apple pies and applesauce and yesterday I made bottled apples.

I usually don't bottle in January but I did not want them to go to waste. I thought I would end with a little bit of wizdom. Just be yourself and love life to the fullest. Have a great day and keep smiling everyone

Friday!!!!

This is a no picture post today. I got up late and am still sitting on the couch. Oh am I going to pay for this later. My sister is coming to visit and we have a basketball game tonight that my grandson is playing in. So off to change the sheets on the guest bed and shower and get moving. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We will be cold but no moisture. Hopeing to get into the city tomorrow. Take care and see you all on Sunday or Monday

Tuesday

Yes we have snow! I had planned on an outing with my neighbor but with the snow we decided to stay home and go another night. We got about three inches and my poor little birds could not get at their food so I had to clean out the snow and give them fresh food. I do so hope they come back.
Today I am doing some organizeing. My card pattern box is a mess so I am making folders and organizing. I wonder how long it will stay that way.

I want to share a great book with you the picture is not too good but it book is wonderful. It is a book on life and thoughts about it and it is just what I needed. I found it on Amazon for free last night. If you have a kindle do download it you will not be sorry.

Today is another cold day here in western USA. Eastern USA has been experiencing tornadoes and I am so happy we do not have hardly any of those.
Just rain and snow here and not much accumlation. Great time to catch up on my reading and sewing. Here is a picture of my latest project.

Now I am in the creating stage for my next project. Also need to get some cards made for upcoming birthdays and holidays. Have a great Monday everyone.

New Day / end of the Week

Just a catch up. We have been busy with family and grandchildren and church this week. But today is a snuggle up by the fire and enjoy each other. I am working on a quit and I can hardly wait toget it to the quilters. We are suppose to get dome snow here in a day or two. I have really been enjoying the weather withoutit but it is a necessity for the water next spring. I am looking forward to a great year. Hope all my firends here in blog-land have a great year.
